Social change and changing economic conditions are throwing up new questions and issues. Thanks to our analyses of existing policies and their effects as well as our follow-through support for innovative projects, we are devising new basic principles and answers for social security and social integration.

 

In the social security area, we examine the implementation and effects of the various branches of social insurance and social assistance. We support and analyse innovations designed to raise the effectiveness and efficiency of the individual systems. We are focussing special attention on cheaper premiums for health and disability insurance.

 

In the equal opportunities area, we study the effects of measures aimed at promoting equal opportunities for women and men in society. Education and employment represent a key area of interest here.
